How Our Self-Retracting Lanyards Work
The SRLs from Rigid Lifelines® are between 20 feet and 50 feet. They are made with galvanized cables and an aluminum casing or high-impact resistant polymer to ensure a lightweight, reliable design. If a fall event occurs, the self-retracting device leverages an internal braking system to stop it at a maximum allotted distance.
Our overhead fall protection system can arrest forces up to 1,350 pounds, helping to reduce the chance of injury in the event of a fall.
All SRL units from Rigid Lifelines® are used with our enclosed rigid track fall protection system. Our harnesses have dorsal D-rings that attach directly to a swivel locking snap hook. Our SRLs also feature an installation carabiner and tagline.
Rigid Lifelines® SRLs also comply with applicable regulatory standards, including ANSI A10.32-12, ANSI Z359.14-2014, OSHA 1910, and OSHA 1926 Subpart M.
