Why Rigid Lifelines?

We Know The Fall Protection Codes Better

We serve on the main ANSI Fall Protection Code committee, as well as several ANSI sub-committees, sharing knowledge from our thousands of installations of safety fall protection systems.

Our engineers work closely with your building architects, industrial engineers, safety engineers, and facilities and maintenance engineers to build a solution optimized for your application. And we offer professional engineering certification in any location in the United States.

We Welcome One-Of-A-Kind, Custom-Engineered Systems, Honestly!

At Rigid Lifelines®, we’re truly eager to do custom-engineered jobs…and our fast response times prove it. We have a complete team of talented engineers that love a challenge. And unique challenges force us innovate, discovering solutions that can be incorporated into our standardized products.

Our Rigorous Engineering & Manufacturing Protocols

For one-of-a-kind or new fall protection devices, our R&D engineers employ advanced computer-modeling software and rigorous finite element analysis. That’s followed by component testing-to-failure to assure a wide margin of compliance.

Finally, our manufacturing engineers verify that ISO 9001:2008 procedures are strictly followed so every fall arrest and fall restraint product conforms to all applicable OSHA and ANSI regulations, as well as our own high standards.

Our Major Manufacturing Investments Serve You Better

With manufacturing facilities in Pennsylvania (95,000 sq. ft.) and Las Vegas (30,000 sq. ft.), most of our competitors simply cannot match our efficiencies of scale. Those efficiencies include the ability to readily invest in high-precision fabrication machinery. As a result, we have optimum quality control and copious production flexibility to handle special or rush orders.

The size of our plants also lets us work on several very large fall protection systems at once, as well as complete, standardized, fall arrest and fall restraint kits. Plus, we keep in stock a substantial number of systems, and a complete spectrum of replacement products, all ready for quick shipping.

Our Certified Welding Quality

Since our beginnings, all of our welders have had their performance certified by the American Welding Society (AWS) in both Steel D1.1 and Aluminum D1.2.

And both of our facilities have achieved “AWS Certified Welding Fabricator” status, meaning we have demonstrated the resources, procedures, and personnel needed to apply a quality management system to our welding fabrication.

The upshot: Compare the welds on our fall protection equipment to that of our competitors’ — ours are smoother, with better flow patterns, indicating consistently higher quality and strength.
