Rigid Lifelines at NSC’s Expo 2015
The 2015 National Safety Council (NSC) Congress & Expo was held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Not only did over 1,000 companies exhibit this year, but NSC offered seminars and keynotes featuring current safety industry issues and ideas and insight into the latest in safety innovation. Over 120 technical sessions were also offered, covering topics from electrical safety to employee engagement. NSC also presented six deserving safety professionals with the Distinguished Service to Safety Award (DSSA) for their outstanding contributions to the safety industry.
Our goal at Rigid Lifelines® is to educate others in the importance of fall protection safety. In addition to displaying our quality products, our booth at NSC was equipped to show our solutions to fall protection hazards with touch screen monitors and printed catalogs and fliers. Our trained safety professionals were also on hand to answer any questions. Attendees were able to try on our Evolve™ Harnesses to see how they fit, discover our different types of Connex™ Shock-Absorbing Lanyards, and/or test the locking speed of our Defy™ Self-Retracting Lanyards.
Our booth this year highlighted our Anchor Track™. Displayed on the bottom of our booth, our enclosed Anchor Track is our staple product. Our 10 engineered Anchor Track Systems include our virtually maintenance-free Anchor Track, which can also be sold separately to upgrade your existing system. Our Anchor Track comes standard with our Anchor Trolley™ technology, which offers effortless movement, virtually eliminates post-fall drift, and greatly increases self-rescue capability. Our rigid Anchor Track decreases impact forces with zero-deflection, meaning a fall event does not impact other workers on the same track. Offered in different types, sizes, and options, our self-cleaning Anchor Track can even be customized to accommodate curves and slopes.
NSC 2015 and trade shows like it are vital to the safety industry because they offer avenues for safety professionals and engineers to present the latest and greatest solutions to safety issues. Both manufacturers and end users can stay current in what they offer to businesses and employees. As technology continues to advance, so will the creative solutions to safety hazards and problems.
