Why Rigid Lifelines?

Rigid Lifelines is focused on protecting your company’s most valuable asset, your employee. We engineer and manufacture fall protection systems that not only protect them from fatalities, but from serious injury. We believe in preserving the worker’s quality of life and we have an innovative product line that provides that opportunity. Through a combination of our product benefits, engineering experience, quality materials, and fabrication and welding capabilities, Rigid Lifelines is the clear choice in overhead fall arrest and fall restraint solutions.

Fabrication Capabilities

Rigid Lifelines has superior fabrication capabilities, allowing for flexibility and control over the entire manufacturing process. With a 95,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania and a 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Las Vegas, we have efficiencies of scale that most competitors cannot compete with. The size of our physical operation allows us to work on larger systems, pre-assemble products, and keep substantial quantities of product in stock and ready for quick shipment. Rigid Lifelines is an ISO 9001-2008 certified company to ensure that the customer receives the highest quality product available.

Welding Capabilities

At Rigid Lifelines, we demand the highest level of performance from our fall protection system welders. All welders are AWS Certified in both Steel D1.1 and Aluminum D1.2 welding certification. This means that all new welders must past rigorous testing and produce quality welds. Their welds are taken to a lab to be tested for quality. Only welders that have passed these tests are hired to weld our fall protection systems. Rigid Lifelines welders are frequently complimented for their smooth welds, nice flow patterns, and consistent high quality.

Engineering Experience

Rigid Lifelines has over a decade of experience engineering, designing, and testing complete fall protection systems. We have a fall protection engineer on staff that serves on the main ANSI Fall Protection Code committee as well as several ANSI Standards Sub-Committees. We have a staff of full time R&D fall protection engineers on staff, as well as a Professional Engineer who is licensed in several states. Before fall protection products are released from engineering they go through a rigorous release process that includes engineering calculations, computer model design, finite element analysis, and the building of components that are tested to failure. ISO-9001 procedures are followed to ensure that our fall protection products conform to all applicable OSHA and ANSI regulations.

Quality Materials

Rigid Lifelines holds the industry standard in quality and this is evident in the materials we use to manufacture our fall protection systems and components.

  • Our enclosed steel track is rolled from ASTM A572, A607, or A715 grade steel
  • Our enclosed aluminum track is made from 6061-T6 grade aluminum
  • Our fasteners are Grade 5 material
