Self-Retracting Lanyards

Rigid Lifelines™ self-retracting lanyards (SRLs) are built tough and engineered to endure a wide variety of overhead fall arrest and fall restraint applications. From everyday indoor maintenance checks, to challenging outdoor jobs in aggressive conditions, our SRLs are your reliable working at height safety partner. During a free fall, cam-driven locking pawls are activated, ensuring that a typical fall is arrested within 2 feet or less. All Rigid Lifelines™ SRLs reduce fall forces imposed on a worker to 900LBs. (4kN) Maximum Arresting Force (MAF) or less. Rigid Lifelines™ SRLs are available in lengths from 7 to 50 feet and can be outfitted with corrosion-resistant plastic, zinc plated steel, or stainless steel housings. Each Rigid Lifelines™ SRL supports one worker with tools up to a combined maximum weight of 310LBs. (90LBs. minimum)

Model 4007

The Rigid Lifelines Model 4007 SRL provides 7 feet of 1 inch wide Dyneema™ Webbing. This SRL should be used in close proximity fall arrest scenarios only. This includes both overhead attachment applications, as well as work positioning applications. When used in work positioning applications, like man-lift or order picker applications, the SRL must be connected to the worker’s harness D-ring using an ANSI rated locking carabiner. The Dyneema™ Webbing fiber utilized in the Model 4007 has an impressive strength to weight ratio and provides incomparable abrasion, cut, chemical, and UV resistance.

Model 4011

The Rigid Lifelines Model 4011 SRL is designed with 11 feet of 1 inch wide Dyneema™ Webbing. This retractable should be used in close proximity fall arrest applications only. This includes both overhead attachment applications, as well as work positioning applications. Because this SRL employs an external shock absorber, when it is used in work positioning tasks, like man-lift or order picker applications, the shock absorber end must be attached to the worker’s back. This ensures energy absorption in the event the worker falls over the hand rail. The Dyneema™ Webbing fiber utilized in the Model 4011 has an impressive strength to weight ratio and exemplary abrasion, cut, chemical, and UV resistance.

Model 4015

The Rigid Lifelines™ Model 4015 SRL comes equipped with 18 feet of 3/16 inch Galvanized cable. This SRL can be used in indoor and outdoor applications. Please inquire with inside sales if your application involves chemicals or coastal salt spray, as it may require special consideration. The Model 4015 is ANSI Z359.1 compliant and meets or exceeds applicable OSHA regulations.

Model 4020

The Rigid Lifelines™ Model 4020 SRL is designed with 20 feet of 1 inch wide abrasion resistant polyester webbing. This SRL is best utilized in indoor applications that are away from direct sunlight. Please inquire with inside sales if your application involves outdoor use, intense heat, chemicals, or a harsh welding environment. The Model 4020 is ANSI Z359.1 compliant and meets or exceeds applicable OSHA regulations.

Models 4030 and 4050

Rigid Lifelines™ 4030 and 4050 SRLs are manufactured with 30 or 50 feet of 3/16 inch Galvanized cable. These SRLs are used in applications that have high overhead attachment points and require longer lifelines. Please inquire with inside sales if your application involves chemicals or coastal salt spray, as it may require special consideration. Models 4030 and 4050 are ANSI Z359.1 compliant and meet or exceed applicable OSHA regulations. These models also meet the former ANSI regulation A10.14 still used by some corporations.

Models 4031 and 4051

Rigid Lifelines™ 4031 and 4051 SRLs are constructed with 30 or 50 feet of 3/16 inch stainless steel cable. These SRLs are engineered for harsh working environments, including applications based near salt water, clean room environments, or food manufacturing facilities. Both units are manufactured entirely of 303 stainless steel, bronze, and composites. Models 4031 and 4051 are ANSI Z359.1 compliant and meet or exceed applicable OSHA regulations. These models also meet the former ANSI regulation A10.14 still used by some corporations.

  • 30 or 50 feet of 3/16 inch stainless steel cable

  • Supports one worker and tools up to a combined maximum weight of 310LBs. (90LBs. minimum)

  • Both units are manufactured of non-corrosive metals and composites, including 303 stainless steel housings, swivel snaps, and power retraction springs.
