Rigid Lifelines™ Offset-D Carabiners
Carabiners provide a locking connection between a worker’s fall arrest or fall restraint lanyard and the anchorage attachment point. Rigid Lifelines carabiners are manufactured from cold formed steel in the offset-D design. The offset-D design is the required carabiner style for all Rigid Lifelines fall protection system eye bolt trolley attachment points. Our offset-D design accommodates all Rigid Lifelines SRLs and most other manufacturers’ SRLs. Please inquire with sales before purchasing for connection of other manufacturers fall protection equipment.

Rigid Lifelines™ Fall Arrest Lanyard Extension Cable
Sometimes fall protection systems must be mounted to ceilings that are high enough to make it impractical for workers to easily access the deceleration device. In these types of applications, the attachment point for the deceleration device must be extended down to a more accessible height with the use of a fall arrest lanyard extension cable. Once installed, the lanyard extension cable becomes part of the complete fall arrest system. Common applications that require the use of a fall arrest lanyard extension cable include aircraft hangars and large industrial facilities. Utilizing 1/4 inch wire rope with a zinc plated O-ring and double action locking snaphook, the lanyard extension cable has a 5,000LB. fall arrest load rating.

Rigid Lifelines™ Self-Retracting Lanyard (SRL) Retrieval Tagline
Self-retracting lanyard (SRL) retrieval taglines provide an easy way for workers to access the SRL snaphook for attachment to their harness D-ring when the application height puts the SRL out of reach. Taglines also provide workers a way to completely retract the lifeline back onto the SRL spool after use. Fully retracting the lifeline after each use eliminates tension on the unit’s internal spring that is otherwise present when the SRL is not fully retracted or otherwise “tied off” to a nearby structure. SRLs that are exposed to this type of misuse can quickly lose their capability to properly arrest a free fall. Each Rigid Lifelines self-retracting retrieval tagline consists of webbing and two stainless steel O-rings.

- Supplied with 20, 25, or 30 feet of 3/4 inch UV resistant polyester webbing
- Taglines can be custom fit to any application length.
NOTE: Retrieval taglines should never be used as an anchorage.
